Evan's 93 4Runner Log

This is my second 1993 4runner, I bought it back in 09 when I was in High School. It had a couple little things done, mostly all OEM, but it did have some new springs in the back to level it out, I don’t know what they are. Over the last few years I’ve mostly just upgraded parts that have broken so I’m always upgrading my truck haha. I also bought a lot of expensive stereo equipment back when I worked at Best Buy because of the HUGE discount. Here’s the most accurate progression of modifications:

What came with the truck:
New rear coils unknown brand
Husky floor mats for front and back seats
Toyota Hood protector
31” BF Goodrich All Terrains on aftermarket wheels
Clear front turn signals and side marker lights
Tinted rear turn signals and backup lights

New Stereo setup:
Alpine 9886 Headunit
Front Infinity Kappa 4” speakers
Rear Infinity Kappa Perfect 5.25” speakers with crossovers and components
Alpine F300 300w rms amp for rear speakers
Infinity Kappa Perfect 12” Subwoofer
Bassworx Ported 12” Box
Alpine 600w rms mono amp for sub
New wires to every speaker and amp

Things that broke/My upgrades:
New custom muffler-less exhaust that exits in front of rear left tire
Davez Offroad custom tube front bumper with winch plate and hitch
Davez Offroad custom tube rear bumper with hitch
Trail Gear hitch D-ring
Bumpers painted with black Herculiner
Trail Gear rock sliders (uninstalled)
Every single brake hard-line brand new
Trail Gear extended Stainless Steel braided brake lines front and rear
Davez rear brake proportioning valve
Wagner premium Semi-metallic brake pads
New front right caliper
New fuel line that runs next to brake lines
Fixed parking brake cable that snapped
New rear sliding window motor
Hella 500 fog lights (temporarily off)

Soon to come:
Husky mounted 3D LED maglite
Husky mounted fire extinguisher
Cobra 19 DXIV CB radio
Firestik 3’ antenna, wires, mount, spring for CB
Hi-Lift Jack 48” all cast
Smittybilt recovery strap
Energy Suspension Slim Bumpstops
Extended Differential hoses

Future wishlist:
1UZFE swap
Defender roof rack with Hi-Lift and spare tire mounts
All-Pro Roll cage
Aussie Locker
Budbuilt front skidplate, underside, and transfer case skids
Davez rear disc brake conversion
Blazeland Off-road Long travel front lift kit (extended UCAs and LCAs)
Bilstein 5125 Shock all around
T100 front CV axles
Front torsion bars (undecided on brand)
SDORI 2” rear coil spacers

Today I got my Maglite 3D LED flashlight and mounts in the mail so I installed them and my fire extinguisher to my front Husky liner floor mats. Its easy to snap them on and off of the mounts and my seats still slide completely forward and back without interference.

Just picked up the two fittings for the rear diff breather extension at toyota and a new rear wiper today, cost was just under 25 bucks. Also picked up a few feet of fuel lines and hose clamps at advance auto so I'm all ready to extend that rear breather!
