I will make time if runs are needed, but if everyone is going to flake out at the last minute, I would rather get my junk fixed once and for all.

Its a month away. Moab is two months. My mom could change an engine out with that kind of lead time. By herself.

Hey.... how come your Mom didn't come over and help me with my swap? She probably would have even made cookies.

Cool, let me know. We can fit one or two in before Moab. I may or may not have a running vehicle for Bad Medicine. I am working on it tough, have the new motor here, the old one was already sent back. Motor brackets are at the powder coater and a big load of Toyota parts for the engine I will pickup friday.

Give me a holler when you're ready to put the engine in, I'll come by and give you a hand. Do you have torque specs for the 4 banger?

Anybody have an open seat for Bad Medicine?

The 3rd I have booked already. I'm guessing a day out in FJ (Bad Medicine and something else, because I don't have a vehicle that can make it.) and Moab will be it for this season.

OK. Sounds like minimal interest. I'll look for something else to do. Thanks.

So what's the plan for next Saturday (17th)?

Westfall - You still looking to run Bad Medicine?

I was going to post and ask the same thing. I don't have a vehicle that will make BM, I still have that engine to put in.

I would not mind going and running Log Corral, I have not done that one in over a year.

I don't really think my truck is going to be able to make the last fall on BM without a beating and then running a line. Since Moab will only be a week and a half off from the 17th, I'm not really looking to break anything I'll need to fix before then. I'm happy to run the trail up to the fall and then watch the show for anyone who wants to attempt it.

I would also be up for a run on Log Corral, especially since Reynolds said it has gotten harder.

Guys, I've been meaning to post up regarding that trip. As much as I would like to get out and run something...its not in the cards right now. My sister is graduating that weekend down in Tucson, so that weekend is out of the picture and I am in the process of figuring out my living situation/moving so I've had to put all my fishing and wheeling trips on the back burner for the time being.

Probably best not to run anything too wild before Moab anyway. BM could be a deal breaker.

Moab is not happening for me this year - which is unfortunate - I had a blast there last year and you guys will have a great time up there. You guys all have fun and drive safe!

Well as much as I would like to get out this weekend, I can't. I have to re-pack the Dana 44 wheel bearings for Moab. I also put the rebuilt engine back in the buggy this weekend and need to get that thing up and running again, I am close and with a new motor I should not have any more issues. Then I will be much more reliable for these trips, I am sorry that I have not done more this spring to make these trips happen.

I will make it up to you guys in the fall, I will set up a good schedule and make sure they all come together.

My mad rush begins tomorrow. Work has kept me out of town for the last month and a half so zero work has been done on the 4Runner. Suspension upgrade, new boots on DS axle, some wheel well trimming, fluid changes, new winch line, blah...blah...blah...
