3RD Gen Control Arms
Ive a 2000 4R with about 147K miles on it. It has a ToyTec 3" lift and some other goodies as the pic shows.
Currently live in Mesa AZ so spend a lot of time on rocky trails. I've been really pleased with the suspension travel and ride.
We follow the cruisers just about everywhere they go. It's been a really great vehicle.
I have a lot of faith in my local Toyota Dealer because the Service Manager, and most of his mechs, are active members of our local Toyota club.
At last check up they noted that my control arms & bushings were worn and should be replaced. So, here's my question. Can I improve the suspension travel with an aftermarket control arm or is the OEM about as good as I can do?
