New va4roc.com Webmaster by 9/5/2006

Hi Guys,

The domain name registration is going to expire on 9/5/2006, so I have decided to let it go if no webmaster can be found to take it. I'm happy to transfer ownership and forward it at no cost to whomever would like to host it, but since I'm not in VA, am starting some busy career stuff, and not even a 4runner owner anymore it's time for me to pass this on.

Please be aware, names which expire are usually grabbed up by predatory companies which simply collect them for resale at a much higher price. In this case it is almost impossible that we'd get it back.

Anyway, feel free to get in touch if you're interested... Dan

The deal is we're really a front for international dirt smuggling. Our contacts south of the border have primo quality dirt which we use in our off roading, but it's illegal to import it permanently due to DoA restrictions. When they get to VA after filing the necessary paperwork at the border, we implement a careful system of removing the dirt which has been carefuly applied to their vehicles and we re-apply it to our own. Later, behind the facade of an innocent looking off road trip, we casually kick off the dirt and and add to our ever growing VA empire of top notch dirt. When our associates leave the country, they run a tremendous risk as they have since replaced the illegal dirt with similar dirt from a remote valley in Utah. If they are caught it means certain death in a mexican prison. It's all worth it though, as we will tranform Virginia into the Mecca of the off road industry and make millions. Every VA4ROC memeber has already contributed thousands to the cause, email me and I'll tell you where you can send me a check.

Oh, and don't tell anyone.

Simple version; What's required is for you to have a webhost who will request a transfer of the domain name for you. I will unlock the name at my host an eventually it will be transferred to you. I'll check on my end so I can be sure...

Just your browser for the transfer. But you will need Dreamweaver to build the site. Any HTML experience? FTP? Current hosting?

Uh Oh. Frankly, the site is too complicated to do with basic programs like front page, and the code is going to be impossible if you don't know basic HTML. I only know basic HTML, that's why I use dreamweaver. But If you don't have a host then it's not going to happen anyway. I guess for starters, do you want to get a host and Dreamweaver?

BTW, cool avatar...

Me too, it would be pretty much irrecoverable. Anyway, let me know what you're going to do, but there's nothing to be done without a host and some kinda advanced html software.

Wow I am surprised that no one has stepped up to the plate.

I have a webserver that has a lot of space and bandwidth that I don't use and I have enough knowledge with websites (hosted complex gaming sites before).

PM me.
