I'm not gonna be able to make it this weekend, I've got a tire with a not so slow leak and still haven't got lug nuts for my new set of wheels so I'm rolling on a spare. Next trip I should have everything squared away and trail worthy.

I hear ya man I'm a condo parking lot mechanic myself. Most people dream of owning a home for all the normal reasons. I simply just dream of having a garage.

I invited my friend and his son. He has a 80' on 36', but will be riding with me cause his truck needs a head gasket. He invited his friend who has a 92' pickup. I figured the more the marrier.

Absolutely the more the merrier. I'm glad you did that. It was looking to be just the three of us if you hadn't.

Indeed lol!

Our previous place was a townhome which had a garage, but it was soooo small I could barely get around the truck.

SO I would say a 2 car garage at least would be ideal hehe.. or a super spacious single.

LOL may not be a bad idea lol.. If you can find one that will let you work on a vehicle.

I might look into renting one at our apartment (separate unit). I didn't think they were big enough.. but I caught one of my neighbors with one open and it looks roomy enough. Need to see if there is power in them.

They state no vehicle work, but he has a motorcycle all torn apart in one so cant be that strict lol.

The alternatives are my brothers driveway (has a good sized one) or my nephews place as he rents the attic apartment of a house (landlord lives downstairs) and they have a good size concrete pad.

Well I get my new battery box today but for some reason didn't consider that with a flat bottom I won't be able to bolt it in, will need it welded lol.

Gonna make a "shim" to make the stock one work for now till I can get the new box installed.

Next payday will be a lube/oil service and begin working on getting the other fluids done (money permitting)

Oh yeah, definitely do that on my own. I can do most things mechanically, just haven't learned to weld yet nor do I have a place to do it hehe.
