Does anyone have trail maps for Hollister Hills?
I looked online and did not really find anything , but i am no expert.
My Topo usa program wont download the area correctly so i went searching online.
Anyone been out there and possibly scanned the map the rangers give out?

Reggie...you're an awesome trail organizer. Just had to get that out of my system
GO dedication.
Oh, did I tell you one of your rear brake lights is out. I think that's a bit overdue lol
Here's the closest I could find as far as map without scanning. I know you guys have probably already seen this, but I had to help

Talked to the Rangers today.
We will be camping in the free area. Sycamore (60 people)I am going to take Friday off and head up in the mid morning. Its first come first serve but i was told not to worry there will be plenty of room.
The area 5 campground is a $250 fee. So i thought we would just skip that.
Its like $5 to get in i am not sure how much to camp.
There are no major events in the 4wheel drive part, a Land Rover club will be there Saturday and Sunday. But She thinks it is going to be a small group.
Has anyone been out here enough to take the mantel of trail leader? Maybe plan out a few decent trails for everyone? Harder trails for the Mod ed and less cautious?
Anyone who plan on showing up late let me know and i will work with you to make sure you have access and appropriate tickets and fees paid.

Bad news, there is a chance that Yota_Pwr and I may not be able to make to Hollister at all this weekend. There is a slim chance that we could, but it's not looking good, sorry guys, if it were up to me, I would already by there, its the parents, and its out of our control.

Wow this looks interesting, Id like to come hang out and do some wheeling. One problem, I dont have my yota anymore : ( And I doubt my Subaru has much flex!
Add one more for a night of camping, and hopefully ill trick someone into letting me ride along for some wheeling!

Getting close to kick off time.
Does everyone have everything they need?
We are camping in the Sycamore free camping area in the upper ranch (4X4 area).
Me and my son will be leaving Friday mid morning after getting all packed. Should be there around lunch time.
Tentative plans are lunch ,a little exploring, ready for dinner, get him in bed.
Morning he gets up around 730, get breakfast, clean up, get ready to wheel. Lets say 9-10 am.
Anyone showing up late at night? let me know and i will pay your fees and get you the gate code. (pm for phone #).
Probably going to be cold at night, i got a tent heater yesterday at walmart for 40, definitely plan on using it.
Let the fun begin!!

ME! But you already knew that...
I see there is a lot of people on that first page, I really hope a lot of ya are gonna show up! We probably should've done a final headcount earlier this week, because disappointments suck.
Give your Toyota some love! Come to Hollister! (C)

How about some directions from the town of Hollister to the Park?? I have been there once but I was following 3 other Toys and not really paying attention to where I was going.
The website only says 6 miles south of town with no mention of what roads to take to get there. It wasn't that difficult if I remember correctly but I dont' feel like stumbling around in the morning trying to figure it out. Hey Reggie can you PM me your Cell number so I have some sort of contact for somebody that will already be there...?
Thanks
