Saw this clean truck pop up on CL and figure I'll help someone sell and someone buy a clean truck.

1991 with 75k miles, one owner, looks pretty cherry from the pics, has 22re/5spd/xcab in a 3rd gen pickup - pretty much one of the most desired combos ever made. Asking $7500 in Tracy CA. Top dollar but worth it to someone.

Great deal since some guys in the PNW are asking that much for trucks with 300k on the clock

 

That's what people are fetching on their trucks with 300k??? I was looking on CL to see what current prices look like for trucks similar to mine and saw that one.

 

It must of been a clean truck as it is no longer posted. It did not take long for it to go.

 

Wow that was fast, someone likely swooped on it. Yeah it was pretty nice, looked completely unmolested and likely never saw dirt. I hardly see the 3rd gen/4wd/xcab/22re/5spd most of them for sale have the v6 or a 2nd gen body, or are beat up. To me it's the perfect Toyota combo - newest version of the simple pickup before they went Tacoma. Took me 6 months to find mine in good condition. I just hope is be able to pull that much if I sell my truck later this year. I think this year is the first time even seeing ANY 4wd Tacomas priced lower than the clean pickups on CL, good for us I suppose.
