I am unable to see the images in a couple DIY posts/threads... Is there some sort of restrictions for newbies or is that because the post is old and the pics are all gone??

I know other forums have restrictions on certain functions, until you post so many times to unlock them..

Photobucket changed the way they do things, and so a lot of threads don't show pics anymore.

Also, if the site hosting the pictures is no longer active, or the photos have been moved or deleted, they will not show up, either.

 

Ian is right about photobucket. i used them for 13 years and than they decided they wanted to charge $400/year. Most aren't gonna pay that.
the only real restriction yotatech has on posting is in the classified. to start a 4 sale thread you need 15 meaningful posts and 15 days of membership
