So, i cant exactly figure out where to post as a newbie, so im posting here.

I have a 98 4runner. I am putting a 02 front bumper on it. Mounting isnt an issue but the foglights and headlights are.. the plugs do not match up! If I buy some new plugs for the 02 bumper from autozone can i cut off the 98 plugs and splice in the 02 plugs then connect?

Also, does autozone sell plugs?? :o
I need an answer by tomorrow morning before work!! Im posting in desperation people!!

 

I really doubt autozone will carry a Toyota connector in stock. Your best bet is a wrecking yard. I would solder and heat shrink. Make it work. Plug and play is nice , but sometimes you just gotta make it your own.

 

Salvage yard is the way to go, get vehicle side from your donor year and bumper side from your model year. Solder and shrink wrap them together and you've got a conversion harness.
