6 mm Allen Bolt

6 mm Allen Bolt
Good evening,
I'm new here and tried to search to see if I could find my answer but not sure if I'm doing it correct or not.
I'm in the process of removing the cylinder head from my 1991 Toyota Pickup. All the bolts are free on the manifold except for that 6 mm Allen Bolt coming through the intake manifold. Is there any trick to getting to that bolt or does the manifold have to be taken apart to get to it?
Thanks for your help.

Allen with a 3/8 square drive, medium extension and a longish handled ratchet. Make sure the allen fits tight in the bolt. Maybe hammer the end of the extension with no ratchet installed to make sure it's fully seated and to try to shock the bolt a bit to ease removal.
What do you mean by asking if the manifold needs to be "taken apart to get to it"?

I'm removing the head and leaving the intake manifold in place. I have everything loose with the exception of that allen bolt. I can't seem to find the correct angle or place to get the wrench to it, I was just wondering of the manifold had to come off as well.

Some of your statements conflict with each other so it's hard to understand what you're trying to do.
If you're leaving the intake manifold in place, you don't need to remove the Allen headed bolt.
The manifold is not required to be removed in order to remove the head. I've done it this way.

Easiest way to remove the intake, whether the head is on the block, or not, is to remove the upper plenum from the intake runners first.
Doesn't sound to me as if you have done this simple thing.

I was able to get the head removed, Thank you for the help. Sorry I was so confusing. I'll get the head worked and it looks as if I'll need to replace the timing cover as well, I may have to come back if I have more questions. Thank you again.
