Denso Wire Set Issues and Warranty

So I purchased some tune-up parts a ways back knowing I would do the tune-up down the road. All were Denso which included a wire set, plugs, cap & rotor. The other day I decided to do install the parts and two of the plug wire connector that sit inside the boot were loose and when I pushed them on the plug it would not securely stay on the plug. I pulled the two problem wires off and the connectors was stuck on the plugs. The third wire which is my #3 cylinder wire had a cut on the wire insulation itself which exposed the wire, which I found out the hard way. So I had to use 3 of my old wires to keep me on the road for the time being before I grab another set.

I've tried reaching out to Denso USA through their Long Beach Branch and through their websites contact fill in page but have yet to receive a response back. Anyone had any issues with these wires and used Denso Warranty service before ?

So I got a hold of Denso USA through their Long Beach location and spoke to Sheryl I believe was her name. I was flat out told I am SOL since Denso does not have a warranty for Maintenance products such as ignition wires even if they are defective from the factory.

I guess from now on I will be giving my Business exclusively to NGK, thought I should let yall know. I am really pissed to be honest, I heard great things about Denso wires and wanted to use OEM parts for my 4Runner but the first time I do I feel like I got screwed. Either way I hope yall out there don't have to deal with this kinda stuff when using Denso parts.

So how long did they sit before installed?

Why not return them to the place you purchased them from?

I purchased them over a month ago and that is outside of the return/exchange policy from where I originally bought them from. I tried to exchange them but was told I should contact the Manufacturer. The wires sat in their box for a month with the rest of the parts I purchased until I installed them the other day.

Ignition Wires Set # 671-6171 were the wires that were used. I am just really surprised that Denso does not Warranty defective parts.

Well I made a post on Denso's Facebook about this and I was directed to email their product manager. Matt Ford from Denso is hooking me up with a new wire set and I am pleased to say Denso has stepped up and are a Class Act.
