Thumbs up BudBuilt

I figured i'd post up on here about my experience with BudBuilt.

I recently got a used (but never mounted) skidplate for my 2002 Tacoma off Craigslist. It came without bolts (which I knew ahead of time).

First off let me say the skidplate is awesome! 52lbs, 3/16" thick, anyway i'll leave the specs for when I do a product review after I bash into a few boulders/tree stumps lol

Today, I figured I'd call BudBuilt and ask which size bolts he uses when he ships out the skidplate kits. When I called, Bud himself answered the phone (which immediately gave me a good impression). I told him that I had bought the skidplate used and it didn't come with bolts and I was calling to see what size bolts he uses. He tells me that he will send me the bolts free of charge knowing full well that I bought the skid plate used. He then goes on to tell me that if I ever decided to get the rest of the skidplates for my Taco, he would honor the complete package discount, even though I didn't buy all the skids at once not to mention I got the skidplate used in the first place!

Just wanted to give a HUGE thumbs up to Bud and his products!

Rock on sir!

From 1 satisfied customer!

-Brian

My younger brother worked for Budbuilt for a few months last summer just part time. Their shop is 15 minutes from my house. He said Bud was a great guy and he enjoyed working there. I wish he still worked there myself so I can get a discount. They wanted me to leave my truck with them for a few weeks so they could mock up some new parts but I didn't have anything else to drive to work.

wish i could say the same things about bud built. I have been trying to get ahold of them for almost three weeks. I keep being to that bud will call me right back. I have called at least 10 different days and have emailed twice. I just cant seem to get a response. I just want to spend some money . Ive now had to try to come up with some other alternative to my drive train lift.
