Tires with my lift

I also just lifted my truck w/ the daystar spacer kit, i went to put on 285 tires over my 265 stock tires... unfortanetly the tires rubbed against the upper control arm... what size tires do you think would fit with my lift without puttin wheel spacers in?

a search would have found you those answers. this should belong in newbie tech...

stock size or 265/75/16's with stock wheels. what tires are you running? some have had no rubbing issues with stock wheels & 285's while others have...it depends really on the tire.

Like DoubleDown said, it seems to depend on the tire. I run 285's on my stock 16x7's with plenty of clearance.

by the way, your avatar...nice looking rig.

x2 My BFG aT's that were 285/75/16's didn't rub, but my 285/75/16 TOyo MT's rub a lot at full crank and droop, but that is cus' they have over the shoulder knobs that hit...like doubledown said, it really depends on the tire..or just get rims with different backspacing. Sweet lookin rig!!! Mine's a 97' too

255/85/16's (33.3" x 10") work perfect on a stock wheel. Tire selection is limited, but it eliminates alot of rubbing issues.
