i recently bought an 06 trd tacoma, and i want to put some new tires on it. ive always likes the bf goodrich all terrains, so i think im gonna go with them. but i was wandering whats the biggest size i could go with, without rubbing or needing to lift it to look right. i found some 315/70/17s for a good price do you guys think that will be a bit much? any input would help. thanks for your time

I'm usually not one to tell new members to run and search immediately without giving some input...but this has been covered many many times.

And no, 315's will not fit. Not even close.

315/75/17's are essentially 35's...even a little bigger.

W/O lift, you'll be lucky to fit 33's.

If you want the largest tire possible w/o any lift, try some 32's.

If you can afford getting a lift, which aint too expensive if you put it n yourself, you can go for those 33's and it will give the truck a whole new look.
