I have a 2" Cornfed spacer lift installed below my top plate. However, ever since I had it installed, i started getting this weird creaking noise everytime i accelerate from a complete stop and when I come to a complete stop. while driving, there is no noise what so ever, going over speedbumps none...only when i stop and go. its coming from the front suspension and i took it to dealer and they said all my ball joints, etc are fine and that it is the lift that is causing the creak. After reading all posts and looking at pictures, it seems as if the little rubber thing that goes between the coil and the spacer for lifted vehicles or the rubber thing that goes between the coil and the top plate for non lifted vehicles is not there. in fact, the installer gave it back to me and i have it in my garage. Could that be the reason for my noise? was that suppose to be installed with the spacer? any help would be great.
