willymoe - I wasn't concerned with ride, and I can't tell any difference in it ... and if there IS a difference, it is a positive one because I am loving my truck more with the lift than before! The XREAS still functions, and I just couldn't be happier with my Revtek kit.

All,
Great info...
Being X-Reas equiped I am still holding out for Cornfed (I live 90 mins from his home ).
I also think a single spacer above the strut should give the best ride/lift compromise as no spring preload.
I just wanted to point out that in theory, with an oversize front sway bar (Addco or similar) and NUKE's, you can get as good or better handling while lifted.
My 99 was lifted (SAW) about 2.25" in front and similar in the rear. Handling wise with a front Addco and longer NUKE's was a little better than stock !!!
I am planning to get something under 2" in front from a top spacer only and then get a spacer in back that levels the truck (e.g. less than 2" which is the advantage of Cornfed...custom height available..)

I haven't installed any kit yet, but since most are based on "perception" (as someone noted above), here's my wish list:
Front:
3" front lift (~45% preload, ~55% topout), made of 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminium alloy spacers (material posted on ToyTech Lift web site, and commonly available for machining). Since no one is currently making this, I'll settle for Daystar 2.5" lift.
Rear:
2.5" rear lift with Revtek spacer + longer shocks.
How does that sound ?

bulldog is the only one in your area. I recommend you going w/ him on saturday regardless of the rain. I'd say for the best bang for the buck OME's the way to go. way better than any spacer setup that's out there bar none.
good luck
