Regearing an E-locker

Hey guys,

So here's the story: I bought an E-locker from a wrecker who assured me it had the correct gearing. It didn't. Now i got a pretty good deal on the locker so i don't really want to send it back but i need to swap the gears to make it usable. The truck is a 1990 Pick-Up with a 22re. Can i switch the gears from the open diff in the truck with the gears in the e-locker? (e-locker was out of a '97 runner i believe) Now from the searching i have done, i can do this but i want to clarify before i get the diff out of the truck.

Thanks in advance,

Luke

Good, now i really only need the set-up kit if the bearings/seals are bad. Correct?

Good idea to get a new master install kit (setup kit) and do it right.
