that looks normal to me for a 3rd gen swap using rears up front. research it, i fabbed my mounts but i believe there is a kit. you need to use a plate and gusset off the frame over the spring then a mount for the shackle. sorry i dont have a camera to post pics.

no. you need to weld a plate from the bottom of the frame out over the spring eye and gusset it for strength back to the frame side. then weld a shackle mount to the bottom of plate in line with leaf eye to mount the shackle to

Oky I understand what you mean now.
So then that means that the way I have it mocked up now won't work?

ah, it looks correct to me, the rear eye on the spring doesnt line up with the frame rail when you use rears up front (ruf) due to their length . you need to build mount over to the side to reach them. darn i need to get a camera. std springs or stock front springs are shorter and line up with the frame.this would allow you to use the tube mounts that you now have by drilling a hole thru the frame. you need to get std
(shorter and less flex) front springs or make different mounts for the longer rears with more flex (or by the ruf kit)

Right that's what I was afraid of. I would like to keep the longer springs.
So I think what I'm going to do is finish mocking it up the way I have it now, with the frame tubes offset to the inside. As long as the shackles are straight I should be fine, right?
And my girlfriends dad has a fork lift so I can take it over there and do some flexing to see if I can make tht work since it is cheaper. Haha

But if not I will buy some shackle mounts and shorter shackles and mount them the way you are talking about.

the way you have it now should be fine and looks great just make sure you dont get any bind in shackle movement.if you do then do the fab or kit that i talked about, but stay with the longer springs for sure they ride n flex nicer.

Yeah thanks for the info!
Do you know about how much lift you got with the shackle mounted the way you have it?
I wanna stay close to where I'm at now. I want to just barely clear 35"s with the body lift and the suspension.
I am definitely staying with those they worked great in the rear so they can't be bad up front. Lol
I'll post pics of the test this weekend.
All you guys have helped out a bunch.

Okay that's what I was thinking.
It's not a big deal I can chop those ends down shorter as long as I can keep most of it cause they keep trees and things away from the front end.
