ranma21, I tried looking for that thread w/ the link to the online store that sold em for that cheap but I seem to have a really really big difficult finding it

I don't know if they'll still have that quote those as I know arb recently raised their prices on the lockers...

I'll still search when I have the chance to go thru the threads!

Thank you so much Lance. I found one for $650. You think that is a good deal? I have been trying to get a hold of Mike but no luck so far

Mike has been swamped lately. I was lucky enough to get him on the phone by chance. 650 is a pretty killer deal since when I was searching on yt as well as on google, the prices were like 700-800!!!. I'd say if you can't wait, pick it up and call it a day.

You'll also need the wiring harness as well (connects switch and compressor - must get item). Those are only 30-50 bucks I think (relative). The locker will come w/ all the hose and rear switch accordingly too.

If you can wait for mike, give him a shot and see what he can do for you. He's very honest and will tell you if he's able to match the price or not too so no need to feel pressured one bit.

Hope all goes well. Don't forget to do your homework on finding a reputable installer as a faulty installer will be only headaches later on when you're on the trails.

Good luck!

Mike's been spending a lot of time setting up the details on a new picture/video hosting and forum site. You'll have a better chance getting a hold of him if you PM him there...

Hi there, not sure if you sent me an e mail or how you were trying to get a hold of me, however, I have nothing pending...If you would like, shoot me an e mail to sales@xtremeoff-road.com or PM me here.

Moved to a new server so I wonder if it got lost in the transition...otherwise I am not sure.

Thanks!

Mike

Isn't there one more locker made for the RD23, full detroit? I heard that there was but I'm not sure. Do you think it would mess with the traction control?

detroit does make lockers that are the same as the RD23 (i think).

i believe the part numbers are the following:
Detroit Locker 187SL-61B
Truetrac 913A321
Detroit EZ Locker 813A028
Detroit Gearless 512A460(x)

I dunno which one you're suppose to use but this is what I found from their catalog. I just went by looking for the 8" dia and the 30 spline count (1.3" dia shaft too btw).

ARB's RD23 works so that's your best bet, if you're planning to get one. I'm sure detroit's will work too (don't quote me as I have not done this myself).
