Ok... Need some advice - Lockers for a 3rd Gen

Ok, I'm sure this has been beat to death, but I have a delema.

I want to lock the front & back... but my runner doesn't have anything at this time.

Money aside... what would you do:

ARB's front & rear

OR

Factory E-locker rear, Lockrite front.

I'm sure the e-locker is going to be less expensive, but more work. The ARB's will be more expensive and probably about the same work with running air lines & the whatnot.

With that said, my plan is to have 4.88 gears on 285/16's with manual hubs in front.

If you go one way or the other, why?

Thanks in advance!!!

ARB it f/r

With the E-locker, you would have to retro it, then blah blah blah, yadda yadda yadda, not necessarily in that order. LOL. Search for the e-locker retro

I like the ARBs b/c u can control them as opposed to the lockrites

The arbs are $$$$ though

Definately make sure u want to wheel and etc. and make sure you are accomodating your needs.

Do you already have a lift?

personally, i'd rather have selectables on both. of course when you convert to manual hubs it won't matter too much...

what about E-locker rear and ARB front?

I thought about E-Locking the rear and ARB front, but for the same price I can get a e-locker and have my axle modified, I might as well get a ARB for the rear and save some labor.

And I figured since I'm re-gearing anyways, might as well toss in a front locker while it's all out - right?

I wheel, but not all the time. I would love to go out more, but the lack of traction stops me from going out.

Yea, the rig is lifted right now on the OME/Tundra stuff, I have a 2" RB BL coming in the mail and I'm upgrading to 285's on Wheelers 16x8's shortly.

I intend on making a trip to see Jason at DeMello in Santa Ana to have him do sliders, skidplates and bumpers front & rear.

Well, now I gotta see if I can still get in the Group Buy for the lockers & compressor.
