new rear springs and shocks installed

after waiting about 2 months my rear marlin springs have finally come in. i had them installed today, and it made a huge difference. the rear end no longer sags and i was able to install my new BBC shocks. we tested the flex out on some stairs near the shop. we found one limiting factor, being the front shocks are way to long. i ended up fully compressing the shock before reaching maximum flex.

we actually took care of the shock problem by building a new lower shock mount. it was to dark to take pictures of it but i will get some tomorrow.

I gotta get my rear brake lines up too.

Everything else looks good!

I just reused the upper mount, bushings bolts and all, and then put a new lower mount in line and at about 2-3 o'clock to the side of the top shock mount. You gotta look into some rear disc brakes and a t-case mounted parking brake...mucho bettero IMO and mine is sitting parked on a 45 degree incline in my driveway now, hasn't moved an inch all day...

Keep us posted....if you didn't see my earlier edit...

IT LOOKS GOOD! and I know how you feel about wanting your truck back, mine goes to get new d-shafts tomorrow morning and I told him he had one day.

One of the reasons I got the AP kit, took out a good bit of guess work and the shocks were just right or at least look to be about right, gotta find me an RTI in town...
