Holy cow, is this what trucks look like if they're not from the west coast...all that rust?

I think that is an East Coast thing with the salt.

Mine does not look even close to that rusty, but I am a bit of a nit picker on keeping it clean in the winters.

I was thinking the same thing about the rust.... it looks like it is going to fall apart! Lucky for me, the only thing rusting is the very end of my exhuast pipe. Which when I remember to do, I'm going to cut off. I figure it would be better to have less of the pipe hanging down anyways.

Hmm.. you know.. judging by the tread on the rear tires... I wouldn't be surprised if that is a junker. He probably just threw the skid on it because it was quick and easy.

Bingo. That's why no driveshaft either...

I'm having him bend the "ears" up on the skid about 30 deg. and then it's coming my way.

Mine does NOT look like that either (rust). Hydro - I haven't been able to devote any time to finalizing my rear bumper design. It will NOT look like Adrians though - I have some ideas that I haven't seen done by anyone yet...

yeah, trucks rust up fast around here. all the moisture and salt in the air from the ocean, and in maine we have salts on the road and stuff in the winter. really spells rustbucket. thats why people from around here will go all the way to the midwest to get older vehicles that are clean and not rusted out.

but the picture there looks really bad.

I was thinking it didn't look any worse than my truck. Guess it's time for me to start lookin for something that stays in one piece when you hit bumps.

Speaking of skid plates, I just got my set from Trail Carnage today, they look pretty beefy.
