lower first gear?

I know there is a lower 1st gear in the R151f, but is there any easy way get ahold of one of these lower gears to install in an R150f?

Are there replacment parts available that i could swap in, I talked to the toy dealership and the guy looked at me like i was a clown.

Try and find the part number

Asking the parts clerks at the Toyota Parts counter for something like this unless you have them trained to do this type of thing will result in this look.

Is what your wanting to do possible ??

Are the shaft diameters the same size ??

The cut of the gear will mesh with the other gears.

If you want the low gear why not just get the whole transmission till your done yours will be all apart may as well put a bearing kit in.

Might even be as cost effective to put dual cases in and be done.

Just what is your end game here ??

Im not sure how different they are, if i had an r151f to look at and see i would just put that in, but they are impossible to find where Im from. Alot of Aisin transmissions are parts compatible though.

I have done gear swaps on th400's and its fairly commonplace to do so. But i havent seen any posts about this sort of thing here and was wondering if anyone had attempted it.

These gears must be commercially available for repairs and such but I havent had much luck finding them. I'll be asking around more tommorow.

swap your differential gears will help as will re-gearing your t-case and/or dual cases.
