A locker question???

I poured over the Locker FAQ in the Offroad Tech forum and I couldn't find an answer to this question:
I have a 94 4x4 PU. I am about to pull the thirds and regear with 4.88's. I want to put an Aussie locker in the rear and keep the IFS up front for now. When I can afford it I will SAS this rig. My question is: When I SAS this rig what will I have to do to the front diff and will I have to change anything in the rear third? I will stick with 4.88's after the SAS and put a locker up front.
thanks.

the front IFS third will not be used in the SAS and is useless afterwards. You should try to find someone selling off their factory 4.88s and buy the whole unit and jsut swap yours out.

Post SAS the front axle will have a 3rd member that is the exact same as your rear 3rd. it will need to be regeared to 4.88s also.

You should be able to sell the front "chunk" for almsot what you have in the regear.

None of the IFS diff stuff is compatible with the SFA.
