Lights?

I am thinking about getting a set of driving lights to mount on the front of my 4runner. My dad has always been happy with PIAA's, and I run their headlight bulbs, but does anyone have any suggestions on other brands like IPF, Explorer Pro Comp or Hella...that work really well (really bright) and arent too expensive. Ive looked at the PIAA 520's, but it seems that a lot of people buy them just to look tough and have PIAA across the front of their truck, but never really turn them on.

Thank You

well man - to go with the best - lightforce - you can get the 170s for 187 shipped from www.central4wd.com , just tell them you were referred from yotatech - they are cool there.

if you are going to go the less expensive route go with the 130W Explorer procomps, best light for the money and you arent just paying for the name like PIAA....you can get the Pro Comp 130s at www.summitracing.com

good luck man

I just put some Hella Black Magics on my truck. They're 55W but they are bright enough for me. They're really easy to install since the harness is all wired up and all you have to do is stuff it in the truck where you want it. It's my first experience with auxiliary lighting so I don't have anything to compare them to but they are bright, stylish, and easy to install. They're about 200+ for the setup.

if your lookin for a real good deal get a set of off-brand lights. i got a set for about $25 if i remeber correctly. they're 100w a piece adn came with wiring and a switch. i found them in a tool magazine, i'll try to find out the name, can't remeber right now. they work great and are pretty tough (taken a few hits from brush) and work great.
