well got the lift on around 6 and i had to leave around then so i left it up to him to finish tighting the bolts. and finishing up. we ran into a problem with the cv shaft bolt hitting the drop down bracket bolt. i have never seen this so i figured that the trucks been wrecked on that side

Well the truck is still sitting there. It got dark and I couldn't get the lights to work out there. So I came back this morning and it was pouring down rain so I didn't get much accomplished.

Couple questions though. With the torsion bars, do I tighten the bolt to loosen the tension?? Because there are no threads left on the bolt so if I were to loosen it anymore it would just fall off. Also, I'm not sure how to bleed the brakes and I didn't think it would be safe to drive at all. I did bring a dremel out there to grind down that bolt a bit but I didn't feel like standing out in the rain waiting to electricute myself.

Anyways I got all the tools and the tire iron. Oh I've got the pictures too just need to upload them on my computer.

Thanks again for all your help and hopefully I'll have it on the road here soon.

for the torsions if you where to tighten them that would lift the truck loosening them would lower it on a 2wd its the oposit. as for the brakes it helps to have two people one to pump the brakes inside the truck and one to open the bleeder on the calipers what you do is start from the farest brake witch would be the right rear but your shouldent have to do that just do the front so do the right front have the person in the truck pump up the brakes untill hard and hold them then crack open the bleeder repeat untill no air comes out then start on the other side.cheak the masterclinder after each time make sure its full .

Hmmm...the torsion bars have got me worried. Right now they are cranked pretty good. But I can't loosen them at all because I seriously don't have any threads left. Not really sure what to do???

I've got your tools at my girlfriends house so we would have to stop by there first but its on the way.

Dudebud, I'll get you your tire iron tomorrow as well.
