Hey Steve,

I went to the links for the gear ratio thing for 3rd gens and it wasn't working. Is it just me or did the link die?

Yeah, I know, that website re-org'd their site. I started a thread, either here or ODW, and somebody found it again. I'll have Corey fix that.

Hey,
I called up the local Toyota dealer and gave them my VIN number. They told me what the gear ratio was over the phone. It turns out that I have a 3.90 rear.

Well, have fun.

Well, there's 3 choices for my code, still don't know for sure what I have.

VZN185L-GKPGKA

3.909
4.100 with P265/70R/16
4.300 Option

When I bought my 4R, (used) it came with 16" rims, but they're 245/75/16. Guess I'll call the stealer.

i have the same model # as you.
if youcame with 16" rims you prob have 4.10's. i think the 15" rims were 3.909. but i could be wrong.
