How to change e-locker manually

I was wondering how to change a toyota e-locker from locked to unlocked manually. My rear axle is in the locked position and will not unlock. I took off the motor and can't figure out how to unlock it. Thanks

Look inside the hole. You should see an upside down rack with teeth on it. Slide it all the way to the right hand side. If it is tight, lift the rear tires off the ground then turn one slowly as you try to slide the rail to the right.

Once all the way over, your diff will be unlocked, put the motor back it and drive.

On the bottom of the page there is a conversion kit to make the locker a manual one.

If you drive the rack to the right with a screwdriver like CanadianToy said you you won't have any problem. I just did it this weekend on my front HP E-Locker (Put the motor in bad position).
