gears and lockers
I just bought a 86' yota couple days ago, I have my 79' yota sittin in the yard under a tree. I'm about to put fullsize axles under it(prolly 14 bolt and d60) but anyways, will my gears and lockers work on my 86 IFS? I know the rearend will but im not sure about the front, Thats why im asking ya'll. Thanks

You can put either of the '79 thirds in the '86 rear axle. They all have the 8" thirdmember.
You can not use either in the front IFS, which has a 7.5" ring gear.
