Generally someone would need to know what you are running before answering.

Here is a link you can start your research.link

Do some research and decide on what you find out. start with tire size type of wheeling you plan on doing. then go from there.

Lots of good information here can be dug up with a couple of good searches.

as for the three things i see two, whats the third?

It doesnt matter if you are sasing or not, only three things matter

What was your stock gear size
What was your stock tire size
What is your new tire size

Stock Gear Ratio*(new tire size/old tire size)=new gear ratio

Now, that assumes you want to be close to stock gearing, meaning your truck will behave on the highway as far as speed, rpms, and hill climbing as it did when you were stock.

If you want lower gearing, go lower, or higher go higher, but this will give you a good starting point.

Oh, and this also assumes you are not doing an engine or transmission swap as well.

4runner kid, sorry to hijack by the way, but does your location mean sacramento and san lous obisbo. (excuse spelling). I'm just starting to figure out places in Cali, (new job and been going there for work) Trying to see if i'm smart or not.

Oh, and you ever get your birf problem fixed? Hope so, you got a nice truck.
