Mike called Daystar and they had to make some more of the bumpers in black,
They should ship out of the factory in Phoenix no later than tomorrow and be to my house Wednesday.
I'll ship everything back out the following day. All the metal parts for the supports are done.

Get those things out ASAP fellas. I've got our Spooky Night Run on Saturday night and I'm running around with no skid plate!
I understand you had to use that tape. But I couldn't get it completely off. I've used goo gone, paint thinner and a wire brush. No bif deal, it's just a skid plate right.
I will have to cut out a notch in the front drivers side corner to accommodate the extra Toyota tow hook (mini-slider) I installed. The plate won't fit with it on.
I can't figure out exactly what you are suggesting to cut off from your picture. I thought it was those side fins on the skid, but mine don't make contact?

I'll call Mike in the morning and have him call Daystar. Daystar told him the product would be here Wed. for sure, I don't know what else to say.
Nothing I can do. I can't "make" poly.
If you want a refund and want to make your own blocks that's fine too.

I used Naptha to remove the tape off of my skids.
I soaked a paper towel in it and placed on the taped sections. A little rubbing and bada-bing-bada-bang no more tape.

The tape... You guys wouldn't believe how much FedEx gave me grief over the way I wanted to ship them...
Scott, the bumpers are the one point that Steve and I disagree, albiet a friendly disagreement. I say run the skid without them, it'll be fine. The grinding / cutting of stuff and junk is purely a cosmetic / personal preference. There will be no interference by any structure, both Steve and mysef have checked and double checked that everything fits as is.
Some buyers have had problems with the mounting holes, however, these were measured out and machined on the premise that the mounting points are in good condition. No twisted crossmembers, hammered mounts, etc.

Yes, I bet I'm going to have a fit getting the new plate to match the holes and mount up. I will need to have Mike Brown or someone come over and help me get it mounted. Plus, I definitely want to wait for Steve's rubbers. So I'm taking his advice and putting the prototype back on for this weekends run.
I'll also just notch out the corner for the other tow hook and hopefully call it done in terms of cutting.

I am in process of deciding to get one of these new units and was wondering if they will come with the bump stops, and other supports. Where are these ORS guys located and what is their story with reenforcing the frame etc...

I can't answer your frame reinforcement question, but it is probably in this somewhere (if you haven't already seen it).
