Talking E-locker installed on 94 -sway bar won't go back on

E-locker installed on 94Runner -sway bar won't go back on because the Motor is in the way.

Has anyone else had this problem? I thinking it won't be a problem to run it without the sway bar. Just wondering what everyone else has done. I didn't see a mention in any of the write-ups about this.

Thanks
Andy

ringo234,

Have you compared the difference in swaybar between the 2nd and 3rd gen runners? I don't know but maybe you can use the swaybar that came with the 3rd gen. Try to look at that route, see if it works. Or you may have to fabricate.

I agree, if you're going to wheel it, throw the sway bar away. My ramp score went from 440 stock to 530 just by removing swaybars.

I tested it throughly the rear bar does not hold back anything. See if a 3rd Gen bar will work. Also you have Torsion bars wich are a HELLA stiffer than the 3rd Gen front coils. You "may" be able to get away with no bar, since your front is sooooooooooo stiff.

Don't get in the way of progress. Imagine that Toyota actually came up with something better on the latter models. What a concept.
