does anyone have any info on using yj front springs
i no its probably on here somewhere but i cant find it. i have heard that it is possible to yj front lift springs and they will give you the lift of the springs plus about 3 inches because the yj springs are made to bolt up to the bottom of a jeep axle. but is this actually worth it? how about with articulation would it be better or worse then lift springs built for toyotas? also would it just mount up or would spring hangers or anything else need to be moved? and the last question would it push the alxe either foward or back or stay in the same place? any info would help.

i just helped a buddy put some on a sami, and would not really consider using them on a yota as they are flimsy and i think really short. you would definitely have to add a leaf as they are even a little flat on the samurai. they are great on the samis cause there isnt much weight and they sell all sorts of weird reverse shackle kits for them and sami's. it doesnt seem like a great spring for yotas at face value but I may be wrong...they just seem pidler

well if you are thinking no on the jy springs then what springs are the best for a yota. i've heard that if u want some good flex you have to get either trail gear or marlin springs. are there any other good springs to look into

Alcan, Deaver, Betts (Marlins) Those are about as good as it gets.
Then you have trail gear and allpro.
And you have the budget solutions....rears up front, rancho 44044, and chevy 63"'s.
Oh and BTW search. And search Pirate4x4.com you will find more "outside of the box" solutions there. But just dont post up there!
