I got the bolts off, that are towards the driveshaft, and got that loose. do i need to pull the axles out the sides or take off the bolt thats on the pinion? or should i be able to just pull the diff housing off. 8" axle too. i want to get this done and any help would be much appreciated. thanks guys!

Yep, you gotta pull the axles out a bit just enough to clear the diff so it'll pull out.

when we regeard mine, we pulled the axles out enough to be able to pull the R&P out. So yes.

edit: Brian beat me to it.

Where are you located in IN?

The rear brake hard lines will need to be disconnected, but if your savy, you can loosen the mounts, but leave the lines attached and stretch them enough that you can pull the axles out just enough to get the third member off.
