that what i was planning on doing for the front

Trust me it would be ALOT easier to just get the entire front axle instead of trying to removed the carrier out of the IFS axle. You have to completely remove it from the truck to get to the "guts" of it anyway. Just 3 bolts hold it in place then connect your cv's and axle and your done
