Next month I will have my Donahoe coilovers with Total Chaos upper control arms and Deaver rear springs, and of course you all answered my question about what mod next.

This question concerns ''bracket lifts''!!! Since I plan on getting manual hubs I know that the tuff country 5'' lift is out (new spindles only work with auto hubs) but eventualy I want to get bigger tires and will need more lift(I will run 285/75/16 with coilovers and Deavers) so that I can run 33-35 inch tires. What would be my best bet without going with a huge body lift??? Witch lift would work with total chaos upper control arms??? Can't afford SAS.

I don't know about 3rd gen kits, but on the 1st and 2nd gen long travel arms and bracket kit combinations are baaaaad.

The bracket kits already bring the control arm mounting point well below the factory point. They are designed to handle this distance with stock arms. When you add the extra leverage of the long travel arms, I think you are asking for breakage.

Then again, If i remember correctly, the 3rd gen chaos kit you are talking about is only upper arms....so it might be ok. But I would think it's not the best. Save your money and do what bruce did. He fits 35's and it actually adds travel rather than just height. The less components, the less breakage. INMHO -Seth
