Question Best Off-road Lifts?

I recently got a 1989 1/2 sr5 4runner. What’s the best suspension lifts for one? Please don’t say rough country, I’m not a fan. This will be my first trail vehicle and I’m not trying to jack it up on 40s or anything. Just make it fun and ride good on trails. Trying to do enough to stay with 33x12.50s. So tell me what you think and some pros and cons to your suggested lifts. Thanks!

33s will fit stock. Get lockers/armor, then worry about a lift.

Go wheel it, then youll find out where you need to spend your money.

Best, regardless of cost? Total Chaos if you're staying IFS. Or SAS it with a 3-link front and 4-link rear like this https://mayhemmetalworks.com/front-r...ension-system/.

There are hundreds of ways to do it. I have a body/drivetrain/gas tank lift, and good shocks, and I'm fairly happy with it. My next big suspension step will be Blazeland long travel.

Bigger tires is a simple upgrade that improves ALL clearance points.

I think these are essential lifts for a "flat belly". It is disappointing that stock trucks have good clearance BUT the transfer case and fuel tank hang below the frame/chassis.

Yep. I never would have done a body lift if I weren't also taking advantage of the extra space. Bumpers are designed for the body lift, so clearance gained there. Thick stamped tcase crossmember replaced with BudBuilt plate one (something like 5" gained there!). Gas tank tucked up. Rear Shock mounts moved up. Exhaust has been redone, and needs to be redone again, but that can be kept out of harms way.
