Armor underneath?
Hey everybody,
I have a 1996 taco, and i'm fairly new to wheelin.
What would you recommend for armor for all the underneath components?
Obviously what lines I drive would be the best protection, but just in case...
Edit: If this isn't the right section to ask this, let me know, it just seemed like the right place to post.

sounds like you want a transfer case skid plate/crossmember. budbuilt, skid row, all-pro just to name a few. this will not only give better protection since it's a big 'ole chunk of steel plate where you'd most likely hit during a high-center, but will also gain you some belly clearance to avoid hitting in the first place. you can also get a full belly plate system from front to mid, like what budbuilt makes.
if you have an e-locker, get an e-locker guard - try inchworm gear.
don't forget some sliders if you want to be able to open your doors in the event of a boulder (or even a car door) hitting your rocker panel. Trail gear is the cheapest option if you have a welder. Heck, TG even has an armor pack for your rig, just doesn't have a skid plate.
