My '90 has a 4" Procomp lift with 33" MTRs. It had it when I bought it. It is OK. I have taken the truck into some places I probably shouldnt have (Fordyce) and got home no problem. The rear brace behind the front diff is way weak. I bent the hell out of it until I reinforced it and made a skid plate that goes all of the way under the diff. If you do go with the kit I suggest making a skid plate soon after. It stiffened up the whole thing and make for a lot less creaking and graoning. I really dont have any complaints with the lift in general. I plan on pulling the lift and doing a SAS one of these days so I can hit some tougher terrain and not be so worried about breaking all of the IFS stuff.
Hope this helps.
