ABS / Rear Locker Issues

Ive just finished wiring my e-locker and since i was pre-wired for the ECU and the switch I ve used all factory parts and wiring configurations. I ve not intalled the locker into the diff yet. I tested the unit last night and all went well, the locker ingages and the RR DIFF light on the dash turns from flashing red to solid, the only problem is that my ABS light doesnt turn on. Ive heard that once the locker is engaged the ABS gets disconnected the and ABS light on the instrument panel comes on. anybody know if this is something i should worry about or will this be resolved once the locker is actually is installed in the diff.????

if you pre-wired like me here is an easy way to do the wiring for your truck.

I haven't heard that bit about the ABS light. I did a retrofit and was pre-wired as well and have never had the ABS light come on or had any issues.

thx. I was reading the manual and it said that it was normal for the ABS light to come one once the locker is engaged. I also read it on a couple of sites.

did you do the mechanical part of the installation yourself as well or you had someone else do it??

I did it all myself, but I swapped the entire axle instead of doing the axle housing modifications. More details are here: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f31/locked-front-rear-almost-71800/
