99' lift

Hey im a new guy here! I want to lift my 99 4Runner. I don't want anything huge or that requires alot of other modification but just an inch or two to make it look a little more aggressive. What does everyone think the best way to go about this is? Thanks in advance

matt,

welcome to the forum! now before someone really lays it on ya, you have to make an effort and search. ill give you some key words to start off your search:

1-2" lift
bilstein
performance products

2-3" lift
tundra lift
OME
SAW

regarding the bilstein/PP 1" lift, check out my 4runner in the community section. I run 32s's with it and its perfect for what i need

btw, your 99 has the tallest stock springs of any 3rd gen 4runner. be happy with those springs. you can upgrade to 32's which will give you an extra 1/2" lift. that would be your cheapest option

anyways, search, READ EVERYTHING, and come back with some intelligent follow up questions. the members will love you for it and give you good advice as well

Bob

Hey bob thanks for the help! I have done some research and was just wondering what it is that others have done and what everyone is happy with. basically people's opinions. maybe i should have made that more clear in my original post!

so matt, specifically, what or which lift are you talking about? there are plenty of opinions (seat of the pants and tech related) in all of those threads.

if you post specific follow up questions or just identify which lift youre talking about, someone will chime in or direct you to posts.
