84 Toyota pickup 4x4
I have a 84 Toyota truck 4x4 with 22r carbureted it has a 5 speed manual in it but I want to make it auto but I don't know what trans to use and how much work to make it work

I will trade you my auto transmission straight up for your 5 speed manual! 
On topic though, there are many, many threads out there about swapping an auto out for a manual. If you search the forum and read those it will definitely give you a very good idea of how involved of a project it is, and you could most likely reverse all the steps to make yours an auto.
Others will definitely know more than me though. I've never done the swap, but I would like to put a 5 speed manual in my 4runner at some point.
