6inch Lift question

Whats the best way to do a 6inch lift on a 00' 4runner? i was thinking 2" lift springs from Old Man Emu or some other popular yota suspension maker and a 4" body lift? Also while your reading this can someone explain what a SAS kit is? I read that it's the best way to lift your truck? true, untrue? Thanks so much.

You should never go bigger than a 3" body lift.

My suggestion, get a ~2" coil lift,(not sure what brands are out there, been a while since I've read up on 3rd gens) and a 2" body lift. You could easily fit 33" tires and possibly 35".

An SAS is a Solid Axle Swap. It involves lots of cutting, torching, welding, wrenching, and money. It's only for hardcore 4 wheeling, especially rock crawling. IFS works better for higher speed stuff, basic 4 wheeling, and daily driving. Unless you crawl over huge rocks or just like to get wild out on the trails, stick with the IFS, and then if you feel the need to go bigger and badder, consider the SAS. See my website for my SAS www.toyotaoffroad.net/afertig/88/sas

Search and Ye shall find.... look into the RB body lifts and maybe revtek's 3" lift. SAS is mainly for hardcore 'wheelers who want more flex and/or want to run huge tires without worrying about the wimpy IFS holding up.

Trailmaster Tacoma 6" lift for the front and you`ll have to do a custom rear. My local lift shop tells me Ford Bronco rear springs, I have no other info on that, sorry. Lots of 3rd gen runners have this setup here xcept for me.

Seek and ye shall find

You know it's not all that difficult to roll one at stock height if your trying. If you lift one high enough, I guess a stiff breeze would knock it over
