If you want to run the 31s until they wear out, I would just wait until you get new tires and then install the lift and tires together at once. 31s with a 4" lift looks WAY too small.

With a 4" lift, you'll want 33s or 35s. But remember, if you go up to a 33" tire or greater, you'll want to regear your axles.

i think this one is that combo. enough room for 35+ tires IMO

why not sell the tires sooner while they still have some value and you will get more $ to put toward your new tires. keep looking on CL, people find crazy deals all the time - I scored my Toyo's for $600 and they had like 1k miles on them, guy rolled his rig I think.

I'd do that but I am in love with my rims and get compliments on them all the time and don't want to switch

What size are your rims? You might not have to change the rims to go to a larger tire.
