Exclamation 4 cylinder 88 4runner exhaust decision?

I am going to put a new exhaust on my 88 4runner and a lot of people recommend Flowmaster 40 series even though it is a 4 cylinder. I am wondering if it would sound nice or like a bumblebee because i don't want it to sound like one of those Honda civics. And if not, any suggestions on what kind of exhaust to get?

I have a 50 series 2.5 tubing, thorey header and a catco high flow cat. I think a 40 series would drive me nuts lol. Even with the 50 series I am going to make it quieter with a resonator. I do have 40 series on my 87 camaro and 86 chevy k20 thou.

Sorry it took so long to reply I don't check the forums much but thanks for your advice I had a exhaust leak where the cadilidic converter connects to the muffler but I got it fixed and I think I am going to stick with a stock muffler
