4 cyl T-case swap

Does anyone know if it is possible to swap in a gear driven t-case into a 99' runner v6? I would like to keep as many parts on the rig 'toyota made' if possible and really enjoy the aspect of being able to gear the 4 cyl t-cases down so low with a gear set swap.

The site is kind of hard to navigate, but there is/was good technical information on exactly this there.

You need a Tacobox from Marlin Crawler

with this swap however, is there going to be a problem of front driveshaft output? I think the older gear drive tcases were passenger side output and the newer models are drivers side. Is this t-case swap for rigs that are running SFA or is there a work around for those who wish to keep their stock front end?

We're talking about putting a gear drive reduction box IN FRONT of your existing tcase...

The other option would be an Inchworm Lefty (sorry about not remembering that in the earlier reply)
