3rd Gen Drive Train Lift?

I am in the process of ordering my 2" RB BL and found his 2" motor mount lift (which I will be purchasing as well). In his section were links on doing an equal amount lift on the drivetrain to clear the underbelly.
RB Motor mount lift
I was looking his links and was wondering if this crossmember( FOR crossmember ) would work and if anyone here has ever tried to do such "drive train" lift on a 3rd Gen? If so How do you like it and is it a Mod worth doing?

I'm not sure, but Chirs does NOTHING half a$$, it's always done right and done the first time. But definatley get his input before you start shifting things around, he has alot of insight on this issue. He just moved so give him some time to respond.

Cheers Chirs , for being an inovator.
