35's and 3"BL

You could always run 34x10.50 LTB's and a 3" BL.
Also if you keep the rims close to stock on a say a 4.5" bs 15x8 wheel it would rub less.
So 35's would probably work as long as you factored in that..
Also most radial 35x12.50 MT's are only 34.5" tall anyways.
I hate tall body-lifts IMHO they raise the CG too much for my liking.
I would do a 1" at the most if I did one again.
About a year ago I saw pics of a early 90's toyota truck on 35 AT's on stock wheels and stock susupension over on 4x4wire.
So it's been done without large body-lifts or large suspension lifts. Likely he probably did some trimming though.

86 4runner 3" body all the rest stock. 35x12.5 on Mickey Thomson Classic II wheels. Never drove it like this, just put them on to see what it would look like. Thats all the info i have, it was quite a while ago too, so I doubt I could answer any questions. Looks like some trimming would be needed though.

When I purchased my '87 it had 2" Rancho T'bars, a 3" body lift and 35" BFG's. With no trimming, it rubbed severely at lock and full stuff. I pounded the body seam flat and trimmed the fender back to the body seam and that helped a bunch. It would still make contact occasionaly, so I cured it with an All Pro SAS...
