255/85/16 BFG's?

I have an 05 4Runner SR5, V6, OME lift. Do you think I could fit 255/85/16 BFG MT's w/o spacers w/o rubbing? I'm thinking about going taller/skinnier rather than wider. It seems that most of the rubbing problems are caused by the tire width rather than height.

I'm pretty sure tha tif you're running stock rims or rims with stock back spacing you could run them with no lift. Great tire size BTW that's what I'm buying next...

Yep... Toyotas (espescialy older ones) had no problems with fender clearance untill you get into those silly wide tires...

Thanks for the input. Do you think that the 255/75/17's would work on my factory 17" rims? My concern is whether they will rub or not at full flex/full turn. I think with the OME lift, it should be alright, but I just wanted to check first.
