15x10

I need some help. I was wondering if a 15X10 rim will fit a stock 89 toyota 4x4 truck. Also will I be able to mount a 237/75/15 tire on it without it looking funny. I just bought a truck with new tires on the stock rim and i know someone who is selling some sweet offroad wheels what are 15x10 and i think the stock size is 15x7. any info will be greatly appreciated.

I am no tire expert, but i doubt you could put a tire that is not even 10" wide on a rim that is 10" wide.

For a 10" wide rim, you need a tire that is AT LEAST 12" wide IMO, and even that looks wierd. 12" wide tires start at a 305. I'm going to go ahead and say a 10" wide rim is a bad choice for anything under a 315.75R16, which is a 35x12.50, so I'm going to go ahead and say unless you have some pretty good lift, you won't clear them.

I have a set of Chevy wagon wheels that are 10" wide. I don't know the backspacing but they fit without rubbing the caliper but I had no tire on the rim when I did it.

I had 15x10 Eagle 589 Alloy's on my '89 4runner. I believe the backspacing was 4". I ran 33x14.5x15 SSR's.
